Measurement
Factors
These Key Prformance Indicators are the metrics used to assess and rate how well the organization is succeeding in creation and management of each X factor. These are used in the same manner as height and weight for a person.
These scorecards are templates which guide the assessment & rating process. These provide a convenient Audit documentation summary.

Audit Wheels
The Audit Wheels depict those factors which will be assessed and rated. The Header level audit wheel identifies the primary X Factor/BI components. The Detail Level Audit Wheels divide each X Factor into workable part. These sub components are the subject of the Level 1 audit, i.e. the first set of audit steps.
Ranking
Organization may be ranked based on level of capability and maturity in creation and management of business intelligence resources. Detailed descriptions of the maturity levels are given for each Key Assessment Feature - then rolled up to the final organization ranking.
Rating Scales
Each Key Assessment Feature and Component is rated using the standards which are depicted in BI CMM Rating Scales for each.
Those Factors which Impact BI Quality (the Six Sigma X Facators)
These Key Assessment Features are depicted in the Level 1 Audit Wheels. They show the special sub components of each of the X Factors. The BI audit is usually started with an evaluation of each of these key Assessment Features.
