In most cases, this KPI, is used to measure those components which incorporate some form of interface with the end user. However, we should apply this KPI to any aspect of a construct/component which has human - computer interface. For example, we should use this KPI to measure ETL software, data and business modeling software and such operational software/systems which help to plan loads and volumes.
Metrics:
1. Specific, documented requirements for each component/construct within the business intelligence asset base.
2. Are these documented requirements designed to capture the specific nature of the component/construct?
3. Identify and rate the actual characteristics in relation to the documented requirements - i.e. in terms of delivery of service, response times, or similar specifics.
Metrics: BI Asset Base & Infrastructures
The Key Performance Indicators are the metrics which are used in measuring the Business Intelligence Asset Base/ Infrastructures. (Organization, People, and Business Processes use different metrics.)
